7 No Work in the Dark
I urgently 1 needed a few days off work， but I knew my bosswould not allow me to take a leave． I thought that maybe if Iacted crazy he would tell me to take a few days off． So I hungupside down on the ceiling and made funny noises． My co-workerasked me what I was doing． I told her I was pretending to be alight bulb so the boss would think I was crazy and give me afew days off． A few minutes later the boss came in and said，“What are you doing?” I told him I was a light bulb．He said：“you are clearly stressed out． Go home and have a restfor a couple of days．” I jumped down and walked out of theoffice． When my co-worker followed me， the boss said to her，“And where do you think you're going?” She said， “I can't workin the dark!”
