The Federal Government has been accused of misusing 1 taxpayer 2 money to fund its mining super profits tax campaign. But the Minerals Council of Australia has rejected the claim and says it won't be deterred 4 from getting its message across.
Britain's Prime Minister David Cameron says he wants to make his economy less dependent on the City of London and its financial services sector 5. To the currencies and the Aussie dollar has lost ground buying 84.6 US cents. And the price of Tapis oil has fallen to just under 79 dollars a barrel.
