-One, the only Alicia Keys, regarding her, get her, her songs “Songs in A Minor”. And you remember what's ten years ago sold 12 million, more than 12 million albums. It is back out 10 years later. You have some new music with it, so it really makes... First of all, Alicia, thank you so much.
-Oh, thank you so much.
-You have been so good to us over the years and we remember when you came here to sing for the first time. It's New York, baby, of course it's gonna happen, it's ours.
-Yeah, it's New York, it's beautiful, it's incredible. I'm so exited.
-It's all, it's all beyond, it's all beyond.
-Yes.
-But, you know, thinking ten years later for the first time you were here, and the new, this has to be special for you, this album, particularly.
-This is really special for me, because it's like, you know, to be able to release this record, that was the 7th record for me. This is the one that really introduces everyone to me. So to be able to re-release it ten years later and celebration, see they are celebrating it. You hear the celebration? We are celebrating the record right here, right now. And it's like a deloused edition. It's a collective edition that has brand-new music you've never heard before, that has been unreleased from that era. It has things that you've never experienced, new videos, new documentaries. It's a passion project for me to thank everybody for this support.
-Because people have to remember you had to fight a little bit, coz you wanted, you knew the sound, you knew what you wanted to do and everybody who said the expert saying, oh you are the new... ah, ah, this is what you should do. In this part of documentary, we see the process.
-It's true. It's true. It definitely was a big fight and a big struggle to get to that record in. You know, all the success that happened after it's been such a blessing 1. I think that, that struggle really makes me appreciate all of that happens now.
-First of your 14 Grammies you won five. It's crazy when you think about it and also mean, you personally, in this last decade, you are a mom now, you are a wife now and you bring all that to your music, don't you?
-Absolutely, and that's what...that's also the 10th anniversary is about, you know. Now only is it a story today, but it's really about the future. It's about celebrating where we have come from, so we can really continue to go on into the future coz this is gonna be an incredible future.
-Oh, and all the things you are doing, charity wise, all that, I mean, you really, just...We will watch your grope before a very...
