China will continue to implement 1 a special college enrollment 3 program for students from rural and poor regions in 2017 and key colleges and universities in the country will recruit more such students, according to a circular issued by the Ministry 4 of Education.
教育部近日发布的一份通知称，2017年我国将继续实施高校招收农村和贫困地区学生专项计划，国内重点高校将招收更多农村和贫困地区学生。
According to the special program, key universities at national and provincial 5 levels enroll 2 students from targeted areas to give students from rural and poor regions more access to quality higher education.
根据该专项计划，国家级和省级重点高校面向目标地区招收学生，以扩大农村和贫困地区学生接受优质高等教育的机会。

In a special national program, universities will enroll 63,000 students from underdeveloped regions in 2017, covering impoverished 6 counties, key counties in the national poverty relief plan as well as some areas in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous 7 region.
2017年，国家专项计划将招收6.3万名来自欠发达地区的学生，实施区域涵盖特殊困难县、国家级扶贫开发重点县和新疆维吾尔自治区部分地区。
