库尔森等人从肖探员身上取出八级情报，随后一同前往神盾局总部。情报内容是独立组织制造出声波武器并将在24小时内使用，韩德探员派出沃德和菲兹潜入独立组织摧毁武器。沃德带着菲兹找线人帮忙，然而他们却被抓了起来。斯凯侵入神盾局的电脑，却查到神盾局并未安排沃德和菲兹的撤退计划。此时沃德和菲兹已经设法潜入了独立组织，菲兹拆卸武器之后他们的行踪也被发现。
