2013 was another great year for fashion - we look at two of the best shows of the year, from Elie Saab and Julien Macdonald. Both are all about gowns that are made of ethereal gauze and bling bling galore.

One of the best haute couture collections of 2013 was the fall-winter wonder from red carpet favourite Elie Saab, shown in Paris back in July.

Royals like Queen Rania of Jordan love the Lebanese designer and celebrity 1 fans include Beyonce and Angelina Jolie.

Singer James Blunt former girlfriend says the Elie Saab show was absolutely incredible.

Saab: "For the silhouette 2 of the dresses, we worked around the fifties and thirties, and I mixed it together. The ruby 3, and the sapphire 4 and the emerald. Every girl look to be different, and beautiful and for his (sic) special day."

And one of the hottest tickets at London Fashion Week 2013 was the dazzling new collection from tiny Welsh designer Julien Macdonald.

"Any time, any place, anywhere - Just have fun with fashion. Enjoy yourself and be a woman and so what?"

Julien put his models in punishingly high heels on mirror floor with no hilarious 5 consequences.

Fashion’s foremost red carpet glambassador there.
