Lesson69 The Spending Safari 1
Drake was excited because he and his family finally decided 2 to go to ParkSafari， a wild animal park a few hours from his house． Drake's parentsagreed to pay the admission price as long as he would pay for the extraslike rides， food， and souvenirs with money he had saved from his allowance．While he enjoyed many games in the park， he couldn't help spending hissavings on the things he liked． Drake bought lots of souvenirs because hewanted things that would help him remember that cool day． He bought a t-shirt， a poster， a stuffed Cheetah 3， and a water bottle． He even bought ahuge stack of postcards， even though his mother explained that they hadtaken lots of photos． After he paid for everything， he had less than $5．00 left， and he had had over $50．00 at the start of the day!
A few weeks later Drake had a lot of great memories of Park Safari． Heliked his mom's photos a lot more than the postcards he bought because theywere more personal． As for the souvenirs that he wanted so badly? Most werejust taking up space in his room， and he wasn't able to remember why hewanted them so much． The worst part was， he was at the mall the other dayand saw an awesome 4 skateboard with a tiger painted on it． It cost $40．00，but since he spent all his money on little things at Park Safari， hecouldn't afford it．
