Interviewer: You know here on Smash Hits Radio, whenever we do the show and we speak to an artist or a band or whoever, we always say, “If you’re ever passing, 1)call in and see us.” And here’s 2)a bunch of boys that took us on our word. Ben, Mark, Christian 1 and Paul-a1!

A1: Hey! Hello! Whooo! Ah, it’s good to be back.

Interviewer: How are you boys?

A1: How are you, Darren? Fantastic!

Interviewer: We only spoke 2 about, what was it “ something like two months ago or something like that?

A1: Yeah, it was the awards, I think.

Interviewer: That’s right, yeah. Just as you were just 3)releasing “Same Old Brand New You,” as well, wasn’t it?

A1: That’s right, yeah.

Interviewer: Which went to number one!

A1: Yippee! Yeah now that was brilliant fun, I mean, it was actually again, the first time was a Take on Me, it was a great, great thing, but you know, it was a cover and this Same Brand New You we wrote. So I think that was just the absolute 4)pinnacle 4 of what has happened so far, it was amazing.

Interviewer: Do you know what boys, every time I speak to you, right? You get to number one on the 5)charts. First of all, I spoke to you on the Pepsi chart when you got to number one with “Take on Me”, then we spoke on Smash Hits for “Same Old Brand New You” got to number one, where’s “No More” gonna go? Number one of course!

A1: Ohhh! You can’t say that, that’s really bad. That’s really bad 6)karma.

Interviewer: No, it’s not, it’s not. It’s positive.

A1: For the man who he always 7)meditates and he’s really into karma, yeah. Yeah, that’s me. No, I mean you know, I mean we never like to say anything like that, because basically if we did and we didn’t go to number one, we’d just look like 8)woolies. So you know, I think at the end of the day, you know, as long as we work as hard as we can and do as much 9)promotion 5 as we possibly can, then it’s up to the public really.

Interviewer: It’s been three months and it’s been a really busy three months for you, hasn’t it?

A1: Yeah, it has been.

Interviewer: You’ve been busy making the video for the single which you made in Singapore, is that right?

A1: That’s right, yeah.

Interviewer: So how long did you spend in Singapore then?

A1: We spent about seven days there in total.

Interviewer: Did you?

A1: Umm, we chose Singapore because a lot of the video was going to be based around a harbor, you know, around a port and stuff with the speed boats stuff and that kind of action. And Singapore’s got the biggest harbor in the world so we went for that. And it was also a place where we could do a lot of different things. It was a lot of different locations like 10)jungle spots and you know what I was saying the harbor. And we also got an opportunity to learn a little bit of 11)martial 6 arts on the way as well. So “Take on Me” we did some Matrix stuff, and in this video we did some kind of Matrix style martial arts as well.

Interviewer: That’s good.

A1: So it was a really good opportunity to go over there and just do some promotion as well. We spent the first three days of us being out there doing photo shoots for Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore and stuff like that. Some of us did. Some of us were like nearly dying in bed. Christian stayed in bed pushing out the shits.

Interviewer: I heard, Christian, Christian, I need to speak to you about this because you had a 12)severe 13)case of food poisoning, didn’t you?

A1: No, absolutely not. No, he had the shits. That’s true.

Interviewer: What was it? We all like that, Christian. Are you still suffering there?

A1: Yeah, he is, yeah.

Interviewer: Christian, talk to me.

A1: I’m trying. That’s right, he’s just 14)talking out his 15)bowels.

Interviewer: God bless him. Thanks very much for poping in and thanks for your time. All right guys, take care of yourself!

A1: Take care of yourself, too!
