How are you?", "How's it going 2?", "How've you been?" 以及 "What's up?", "What's going on?" 和"What've you been up to?"
Not much."
Not much. I'm just out shopping for my sister's birthday gift."
Great! I've just started a new job, and I love it!"
接着说,然后通过问有关新工作的话来引出更多的谈话: "So what company 3 are you working for?"
Tracy: Hey Lily 4! How's it going? (greet)
Lily: Good. Just headed to meet my husband 5 at the movies. (respond)
Tracy: Oh really? (follow-up) What are you going to see? (initiate)
Lily: Hopefully Lord 6 of the Rings, if it's not sold 7 out. (respond)
Tracy: Oh yeah, the theater 8 can get really busy on Friday night. Good luck 9! (follow-up)
Lily: Tell me about it! See you Monday. (respond)
