(1) 表示还有其他类似的人或物，意为：诸如此类;等等一切;之类等等;等等之类。如：
His family has gone to the countryside 1, his parents, brothers, sisters and all. 他一家都下乡去了，他父母兄弟姐妹等其他人都去了。
He has books and paper and all. 他有书和纸之类的东西。
Tell me what the date is — year and all. 把日期告诉我，年月日都要。
She ate 2 cakes, cookies 3 and all. 她吃了蛋糕、饼干等杂七杂八的东西。
(2) 表示：包括;还有。如：
What?! Children and all? 什么?! 还带孩子?
I went to school regularly 4, even 5 with Mother sick and all. 我按时上学，甚至连妈妈生病时也是如此。
(3) 表示赞同(属英国方言用法)，意为：确实;当然。如：
A：It’s warm today, isn’t it? 今天很暖和，是吗?
B：It is, and all. 确实暖和。
A：Did 6 they climb the mountain? 他们爬上了那座山吗?
B：Yes, they did it and all. 确实爬上去了。

- He's just come from the countryside.他刚从乡下来。
- He's going to work in the countryside.他将要到农村去工作。
v.吃，eat的过去式
- I ate a whole box of chocolates.我吃了一整盒巧克力。
- It's a long time since she ate out last time.她很长一段时间没在外面吃饭了。
小甜饼(复数)
- She sat reading a magazine, dunking cookies in her coffee. 她坐着一边看杂志一边将曲奇饼在咖啡里蘸一下再吃。
- There are only five cookies left. 只剩下五块曲奇了。
adv.有规则地，一丝不苟地，正式地
- Check the engine oil level regularly.要时常检查机油量。
- We meet regularly to discuss business.我们定期会面讨论事务。
adj.平坦的，偶数的，相等的；adv.甚至，恰好，正当
