与“穿着”有关的谚语

 　　在汉语中，我们常常使用一些服装衣着名词来表示某一特定事物，如用“裙衩”指代女子，“拜倒在某某石榴裙下”便是此意：“纨绔”指代富豪家子弟：“勒紧裤带”过日子意味着节衣缩食：“囊中羞涩”暗指贫穷等等。类似的用法不胜枚举。

　　有趣的是，英语中，同样有好些衣着名词被广泛用于习语中。这些衣着名词的用法，大多属于比喻用法。熟练地掌握这些成语的用法和意义，有助于英语学习者对说英语国家文化背景的了解，增加学习英语的兴趣，提高学习效果。
