   美国俚语 American Slang 1


  现今,美国本土有很多的年轻人Teenager,见面聊天时爱说一些俚语slang,这些俚语在课本上比较不常见,因为它们是属于不正统、不讲求文法,比较常用在非正式场所的英文,虽然如此,我们还是要学会几个美国时下年轻人爱用的俚语,以免有机会跟Teenagers聊天时才不会显得很「瞎」,但提醒大家,这些英文都比较不正统,口语说说可以,千万不要用在写作及正式的场合使用喔!
  1. Gotcha! Get it!
  「懂了」、「了解」通常我们会说 “I understand” 但年轻人更常用的是gotcha或 get it!gotcha(了解)是got you的口语说法,大多数的年轻人喜欢说一个字的gotcha来代替两个字的got you,另外gotcha在玩游戏时的用法就是「你上当了!」或「逮到你萝!」的意思Gotcha! Now it’s your turn!(抓到你了!现在换你了!),get it的用法也如同gotcha,讲完话就可以顺便问人家get it?(懂了吗?)。
  A: That’s our homework today. (那就是我们今天的作业。)
  B: Gotcha! (了解)
  C: Sorry! I don’t get it! (我不懂!)
  2. What’s up? Yo! Dude, how’s it been?
  当两个年轻的好朋友见面时会说 What’s up?(近来怎麽样?) How’s it going?(近况如何?)或把 How have you been? 简化成 How’s it been?,男生碰面时就爱加上dude(老兄)或大家常听到的Yo!(嘿!海!)不过dude跟Yo,比较常用在男生身上,女孩们别用喔!
  A: Hey / Dude / Yo, what’s up? (近来怎麽样?)
  B: I’m doing great. (我很好!)
  3. Shut up!
  我们以前学到 “shut up”是闭嘴,但现在有很多的美国美眉们就很喜欢用 “shut up”这个俚语,在俚语它不是叫人家闭嘴的意思,是「少来了」、「不会吧」、「你开玩笑的吧」、「不要闹了」的语气。
  A: I’m dating with Jolin. (我正在跟蔡依伶约会。)
  B: Shut up! (少来了!)
  4. Beats me!
  “beats me” 这句话如果照字面翻译会是「打我」的意思,但在俚语上它实际的意思是「问倒我了!」
  A: Who’s that? (那是谁阿?)
  B: Beats me! (这问倒我了!)
