6月7日上午11时左右，网上出现“南都记者卧底替考组织在南昌参加高考”的报道。南昌市教育考试院迅速与警方采取行动，在语文考试结束前将南昌十中考点的涉事考生李某某控制住。经初步调查，李某某承认了替考行为。目前，警方正在进一步调查。

“替考者”的英文表达是surrogate exam-taker，也可称为ghost writer（枪手）。
在考试前这些替考者能收到几万元down payment（定金），考完之后还能拿到更多。如果他们能帮被替考者考入key universities at the provincial 2 level（重点一本大学），将能额外获得2万元。如果能考入major universities at the national level（名牌大学），将能获得3万元奖金。
根据国内法规，那些替考者将expelled from college（从大学被开除），情节严重者还将被handed in to public security bureaus（移送到公安机关）。
