口语：“有潜力”怎么说？

虽然现在还没成功，但说不定就是潜力股，前途大好喔！英语里想说他人有潜力，都能怎样表达？
1. Diamonds in the rough未经雕琢的钻石只差好好打磨就能bling bling啦！归根到底，说明人家还是块材料啊！
例：She may seem shy and ordinary right now, but give her a couple more years - she truly is a diamond in the rough.
虽然她现在看着害羞，人也一般般，但过几年也会是个可造之材。
2. Have the makings of something英文里making指的是完成某件事需具备的要素，也指人的素质。这个短语用在人身上时，就是指某人具备成就了某件事的素质。
例：He has the makings of a first-rate lawyer.
他具备了成为一流律师的素质。
3. Promising 1有希望，有前途，英文里用promising来表示。当你看好谁的时候，就可以将这个词派上用场了。
例：He was voted the most promising new actor for his part in the movie.
凭借这部电影中的角色，他当选为最具潜力的男演员。
4. Room for improvement虽然有不足，但实际上还有提高的空间，不难看出希望还是有的，只是需要改进而已。
例：There's still room for improvement in his cooking.
他的厨艺还能改进。
5. Wits指的是思考的能力和智慧，我们可以用它表示有能力做成某件事。
例：She's got the wits to make it work.
她有能力让它恢复正常。
