CCTV9英语新闻：Led Zeppelin豪华版的经典专辑

Led Zeppelin will soon release a series of deluxe 1 editions of all nine of their studio albums. The first batch 2 will include the band’s first three recordings 3 between 1969 and 1970. And several previously 4 unreleased songs will also be part of the package, including a version of their pulsating 5 tune 6, "Whole Lotta Love".

 

Remastered by guitarist Jimmy Page, the reissues will be launched on June 3rd with deluxe editions of "Led Zeppelin", "Led Zeppelin II" and "Led Zeppelin III". Each album will include a second disc of unreleased music.

 

According to Page, these contain a selection of works in progress, with rough mixes, backing tracks, alternate versions, and new material recorded at the time.

 

The companion audio for the band’s debut 7 album "Led Zeppelin" features a previously unreleased performance recorded in Paris. The nine-song set features seven tracks from the album, including a 15-minute version of "Dazed and Confused".

 

The bonus disc of "Led Zeppelin II" features alternate versions of five songs from the album, including "Whole Lotta Love," a fixture 8 in the pantheon of classic rock 'n' roll songs. Nine tracks are featured on the companion audio to "Led Zeppelin III", including 3 previously unheard compositions, such as the band’s take on blues 9 classic "Keys To The Highway/Trouble In Mind."

 

Founding members John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page and Robert Plant, along with Jason Bonham, the son of drummer John Bonham, who died in 1980, played a tribute concert at London’s O2 Arena 10 in 2007. Nevertheless, band members have since expressed doubts about the prospect 11 of another reunion.
