Zhouzhuang, a water town in east China’s Jiangsu Province that is famous for its painting-like scenery. Now, the famed tourist attraction is even more charming 1, as the town’s windmill season has finally begun.
Colorful windmills of different sizes can be seen everywhere in the water town - on eaves, inside courtyard walls or outside windows. Windmills in the shape of cartoon characters are also popular here. Visitors can also learn to make their own windmills with materials provided 2 by organizers.
