The second Gas Exporting Countries Forum 1 has attracted world wide attention as the influence of the organization has grown in the world energy market.
World leaders like Russian president Vladimir Putin, Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro and the Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad all attended the two day meeting.
Apart from discussing the general outlook for the industry, the participants also had in-depth exchanges on the prospect 2 of establishing a hook between the price of natural gas and petroleum 3 products, in order to balance the price difference between the two.
