Dortmund crashes Wolfsburg 5-1 in Bundesliga

BERLIN, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- Defending Bundesliga champion Borussia Dortmund taught Wolfsburg a 5-1 lesson thanks to a brace 1 by midfielder Mario Goetze while Bremen came from behind to beat Cologne 3-2 on Saturday.
Other than expected Wolfsburg started self-confident against the German champion but it was Dortmund that shocked the guests with the opener in the 12th minute after an assist by midfielder mate Shinji Kagawa.
Wolfsburg remained shocked and unable to give an answer consequently the "BVB" doubled the lead just before break as midfielder Kagawa utilized 2 a pass into path to slot home.
After interval 3 Dortmund retracted 4 with the lead so that Wolfsburg was able to shorten the score through midfielder Aliaksandr Hleb who utilized a rebound 5 from penalty area at the 59th minute to make it 1-2 on the scoreboards.

Berlin took the lead against Monchengladbach at the 18th minute but Monchengladbach equalized at the 33rd minute through midfielder Marco Reus.
After interval, Monchengladbach took over to seal the win at the 55th minute with a follow-up shot by youngster Reus into top left.
Berlin remains 13 on 10th position with 16 points while Monchengladbach stays on a surprising 4th position with 23 points.
Freiburg wrapped three points after a late penalty by striker Papiss Demba Cisse ensured a 2-1 win against Nuremberg.
Freiburg climbs from the last to 17th position with 10 points while Nuremberg slips from 14th to 15th position with 12 points.
Hoffenheim shared points with Kaiserslautern after a 1-1 draw.
At the late match on Saturday struggling Hamburg turned a 0-2 deficit into a two-all draw against Leverkusen in a hectic 14 match.
