And I thought: "You want me to speak to Harvard graduates? What I... What can I possibly say to Harvard graduates, some of the most successful graduates in the world.
当时我想 "您让我来给哈佛毕业生们做演讲?我能对他们说些什么呢他们可是世界上最前途无量的一群人啊
In the very moment when I had stopped succeeding? So I got off the phone with President Faust, and I went to the shower.
而且恰逢我事业失利的时候？于是我挂断了福斯特校长的电话然后去洗了个澡
It was either that or a bag of Oreos. So I chose a shower. And I was in the shower along time.
要么淋浴 要么就去吃一袋奥利奥饼干于是我选择去冲个澡在我淋浴的时候
And as I was in the shower the words of an old hymn 1 came to me, you may not know it. It's "By and By... When the morning comes". And I started thinking about when the morning might come.
一首古老的赞美诗闪过脑海你们可能没听过这个 "耐心等待 曙光终将到来"我开始思考自己的曙光何时到来
Because when the time I thought I was stuck in a hole and the words came to me: "Trouble. Trouble don't last always" from that hymn.
因为当我感到身陷困境时想起了这些诗词"困难 困难终会过去" 这也是出自那首赞美诗
This too shall pass. And I thought, as I got out of that shower, I, I'm going to turn this thing around.
它也终会过去从浴室出来以后 我开始思索我要扭转这种局面
And I would be better for it. And when I do, I'm going to go to Harvard, I'm going to speak the truth of it.
我会变得更好一旦我做到了 我会去哈佛大学说出心里话
So I'm here today to tell you: I have turned that network around! And it was all because I wanted to do it.
