In places, the Great Wall of China is so dilapidated that estimates of its total length vary from nine thousand to 21 thousand kilometres. One Chinese farmer Yang Yongfu decided 1 to do something about it. And where the Great Wall bordered his own farmland began restoring it. After years of backbreaking work, he turned his section of the wall into a tourist attraction. But that put him on a collision course with the authorities.
