He's written a musical called "The Last Ship", which he aims to bring to a Broadway theatre next year. In the meantime, he's releasing 12 of the songs as an album. Working with John Logan, who wrote screenplays for Skyfall and Gladiator, Sting has drawn 1 on memories of his Tyneside childhood, to tell the story of the closure of the Swan Hunter shipyards.
