Moist onshore winds are driving showers over eastern Queensland more frequent in the north. A high is keeping skies mostly clear in the southeast, waiting to a cool morning.
Looking around the country, isolated 1 to scattered 2 showers about the coast of Queensland. Fine and sunny over much of the interior, although increasing high cloud over the southwest.
In New South Wales, isolated showers on the far north coast, mostly sunny elsewhere.
Early fog patches are expected in northeast of Victoria. Scattered showers developing over the southwest. And isolated showers be the central and south Gippsland coasts, otherwise fine.
Further south and Tasmania can expect showers about the north and west. A possible morning thunderstorm about the north and west coasts. Generally fine about the east and southeast.
A cool morning with areas of fog and frost in South Australia, sunny and mild temperatures with light northwesterly winds.
In WA, isolated showers are expected in the far southwest and interior. Warm in the north and mild in the south.
Shower spreading inland across the Top End. Dry and mostly sunny in the south.
