U.S. President George Bush says the United States will do it all it can to help the victims of the typhoon that struck the Philippines over the weekend. Following talks at the White House with Philippine President Gloria Arroyo 1, Mr. Bush announced plans to send a U.S. aircraft carrier to the scene.
美国总统布什说，美国将竭尽全力帮助菲律宾的台风灾民。上周末，台风袭击菲律宾。布什总统在白宫会见菲律宾总统阿罗约时宣布，美国将调遣一艘航空母舰去菲律宾灾区。
