什么是状语从句：
首先我们要搞清楚什么是状语。状语是修饰动词、形容词、副词用的；那么有主谓结构的句子担任的状语就称之为状语从句了。
状语从句由从属连词所引导，既可置于句首，也可置于句末。状语从句根据它们的含义又可细分为八种：时间、地点、原因、目的、结果、方式、让步和条件。
那么状语从句在实际的写作中是如何得到应用的呢？笔者从雅思考官的范文中摘录了一些典型例句，供读者欣赏、学习。
雅思考官如何使用状语从句（8分-8.5分）：
