The former Utah state trooper who police say is a suspect in Monday's deadly rush-hour shootings in Dallas is now in a hospital. Police say 37-year-old Brian Smith tried to commit suicide and he is now in serious condition at a local hospital. Police used ballistics test that links Smith to shootings where one driver was killed and another injured.
The IRS says it conducted more audits 2 this year than last, but collected nearly five percent less in taxes. It says it collected just under 56 and a half billion dollars for 2008. The model reportedly told police that she was traveling with the men to go shopping.
