4. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke says worries that the Fed's plan to aid the economy could unleash 4 inflation are overblown. Bernanke announced Wednesday that the Fed would buy 600 billion dollars worth of government bonds. The move is aimed to make loans cheaper, spur spending and invigorate the economy.
