1. Authorities in Missouri say they've caught a gunman who tried to enter an army base. The man then led police on a chase during which shots were fired. He's later spotted 1 walking into a building at the Missouri University of Science and Technology.
2. Authorities in New York say they've arrested two men who were allegedly plotting to attack a synagogue. They say two Americans of Algerian and Moroccan descent bought guns and a hand grenade from an undercover officer.
3. In the South, authorities are continuing to watch the rising Mississippi. The river is sending water over a levee in Louisiana. And the Port of New Orleans says the river may have to be closed to ships as early as Monday.
4. Tiger Woods has called it quits at the Players Championship. He withdrew from the tournament after shooting six over par 2 on the front nine. He's sad of leg injuries and says he's having a hard time walking.
