URUMQI, July 21 (Xinhua) -- More than 400 vehicles are stranded 1 following rain-triggered mudslides that cut off multiple sections of a major road in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous 2 region, border police said Saturday.
Several stretches of National Highway 314 within the Kirgiz autonomous prefecture of Kizilsu were buried by landslides 3 triggered by downpours that started on Friday night, said Zhu Yong, a border police officer.
No casualties were reported in the landslides and local police have delivered food and water to the stranded motorists.

The 314 National Highway starts from Xinjiang's capital Urumqi and serves as a major route to Pakistan.
