英语课

   大家经常用I have something to do tomorrow.来形容没空,其实是中式的英语表达。对于表示我很忙,脱不开身其实可以用:I am tied up。上面那个句子就变成了:Sorry but I am tied up all day tomorrow.


  当然还有其他的说法,都是可以的哦:
  1. I can't make it at that time.
  我脱不开身啊。
  2. I'd love to,but I am busy.
  我想,但是我很忙!
  3. You see I'm in the middle of something.
  你看,我正忙着呢。
  4. I'm sorry, I'm otherwise engaged 1.
  对不起,我有其他安排了。
  5. I have other fish to fry.
  我还有别的事要做。
  6. I am in a meeting. I'll call you later.
  在开会呢,过会儿打给你。
  7. Sorry, I have plans.
  对不起,我有事。

  • They are engaged in talks with the Irish government. 他们正忙着与爱尔兰政府谈判。
  • The old lady engaged herself in making clothes for her children. 这位老太太忙着为孩子们做衣服。
