双十一前夕:京东和天猫已经展开明争暗斗

 　　China's two largest internet retailers 3 have clashed in the run-up to Singles Day, the world's biggest online sales day, on 11 November.

　　中国两大互联网经销商双十一正式开战。双十一又称光棍节，是全球最大网上销售日。
　　Alibaba has been accused by its smaller rival JD.com of "forcing retailers" to promote their sales exclusively with its own outlet 4, Tmall.
　　京东近日指控竞争对手阿里巴巴胁迫商家只能在天猫平台上参加双十一的活动。
　　JD.com has lodged 5 a complaint with the Chinese industry and commerce watchdog but Alibaba denies the allegation. The retail 1 giant claims its rival is "panicking because they're losing".

　　The Chinese State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC) has accepted the complaint and warned retailers "not to use malicious 8 marketing 9 methods to engage in competition" ahead of the event, according to the Xinhua news agency.
