Hundreds of cheeky travellers across the globe rode trains, tubes and subways today with no trousers on as a part of the 'No Pants Subway Ride' day.

The event began in 2002 in New York City with seven members of the improvisational 1 group, Improv Everywhere, known for their flash mobs 2, boarding the subway without trousers. By 2006, 150 people had joined the fun, feeling the draft 3 as they rode the train without trousers.
  这个活动始于2002年,当年在纽约,七名Improv Everywhere(一个以快闪著称的即兴恶搞活动团体)的成员没穿裤子搭上了地铁。
Ten years on, the fad 4 has spread to countries like Germany, Czech Republic and The UK, proving the trouserless train ride is still alive and well.
'No Pants Subway Ride' is always planned in winter, and last year 4,000 people participated in NYC alone.

'The idea behind No Pants is simple: Random 5 passengers board a subway car at separate stops in the middle of winter without pants. The participants behave as if they do not know each other, and they all wear winter coats, hats, scarves, and gloves. The only unusual thing is their lack of pants,' Improv Everywhere's website reads.
Four leggy ladies act casually 6 as they bare all on the London underground on Sunday as a part of the international 'No Pants Subway Ride'.
