Philippine tourism officials say they stand to lose 4.5 million US dollars a month in canceled bookings and charter 1 flights from Taiwan.
菲律宾旅游部门官员说，因台湾方面取消预订及航班导致一个月内损失达450万美元。
Most of the cancelations have hit the popular beach resort of Boracay in the central Philippines, where tourists from Taiwan are the second largest group of visitors, after South Koreans. Last year, more than 90,000 tourists from Taiwan visited the island.
