This week marks the start of annual plenary session of the National People's Congress (NPC) in China.

The NPC is expected to vote on two key measures.

1. The amendment 1 to the land management law - We have previously 2 reported that China will prioritize land reforms as officials reiterate 3 that urbanization is crucial to driving economic growth. This bill if passed will boost farmers' share of revenue from land sales.
