Copyright disputes between new and traditional media are growing, and require a mature copyright protection system, according to a new report.
日前发布的一项报告称，新媒体与传统媒体之间的版权纠纷正不断增多，亟需出台一项完善的版权保护制度。
The annual report, released by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, looked into the development of new media in China.
这份由中国社会科学院发布的年度报告研究了我国新媒体的发展情况。
"Copyright infringement 2 has restrained new media's development," said Tang Xujun, lead researcher of the report and director of the Institute of Journalism 3 and Communication at CASS.
该项报告的首席研究员、社科院新闻与传播研究所所长唐绪军表示：“版权侵犯已成为制约新媒体发展的瓶颈。”

This week, Beijing News, a newspaper with a reputation for investigative reports, sued dzwww.com, a Shandong-based news website, for illegally using more than 1,000 stories produced by the newspaper. The case was filed at the Dongcheng District People's Court.
本周，以调查性报道著称的《新京报》起诉山东一家新闻网站--大众网--侵权转载该报千余篇稿件。此案在东城区人民法院受理。
Toutiao, a headline news application, claims that it does not produce news but only transfers news to the platform. Toutiao was sued by many traditional news media organizations in 2015.
2015年，标榜“不做新闻生产者，只做新闻搬运工”的新闻聚合平台“今日头条”遭多家传统新闻媒体机构起诉。
Newspapers in Hubei and Jiangxi provinces sued Toutiao in August, accusing of the application "stealing" their intellectual property. The two papers also reported how the application infringes 4 their intellectual property.
湖北省和江西省的报社于去年8月份起诉今日头条，指控该应用程序“窃取”他们的知识产权。此外，这两家报社还对该应用是如何侵犯其知识产权的进行了报道。
"Toutiao does not have a team to produce news, but as a news collection platform it gathers many news products. Is it innovation or theft? There are many different views," Tang said.
唐绪军表示：“今日头条并没有一个团队来发布新闻，但作为一个新闻聚合平台，它收集了许多新闻产品。到底是一种创新还是一种掠夺，目前还众说纷纭。”
"Social platforms are also becoming a breeding ground for copyright infringement," the report said.
此外，该报告还指出，“社交平台也正成为版权侵犯的滋生地。”
