A group of dancing boys and girls attracted everyone’s glances at the 23rd China National DanceSport Championships in Shenzhen.
It was a chance for youngsters from across the country to show off their steps. Cai Zhen was one of the dancers in the children’s Latin competition.
The 11-year-old boy has been learning Latin for five years and despite his age, is a relative veteran of events like this.
He certainly likes the attention. He and his parter ended up in fifth place.
Cai has his own idol 1 - Shao Keqiang. The veteran had won the Latin category trophy 2 in China’s DanceSport Open last month.
