More than 30 kids injured in German highway accident

BERLIN, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- More than 35 people were injured in a highway accident in south Germany on Wednesday afternoon, including at least 30 kids, police source said.
The accident happened near Freising, a Bavarian city in south Germany. The children were on a field trip as a holiday program when their bus flung 1 and rolled over at highway No. 92 in direction to Munich.
Witness told local media that the bus flung at around 15:20 local time when it encountered a sudden thunderstorm and hail 2. Some children were seen throwing out of the vehicle.
Local police said, another passenger car and three trucks clashed 3 at the accident site shortly after, causing several injured.
Rescue teams are still trying to bring the situation under control, while the accident site remains 4 blocked. Several forces including police, disaster relief group, psychological experts and a helicopter have attended the relief.
