It’s been 65 years since the founding of China’s People's Liberation Army Navy. In recent years, China’s navy has become heavily involved in many international humanitarian 1 and peacekeeping missions. Sixteen Chinese Navy ships are currently participating in a number of rescue, peacekeeping, and escort missions around the world.
For more, we’re joined in the studio by Zhang Ye, a researcher from the Naval 2 Research Institute of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.
