Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich has arrived at the airport of Xi’an, in northwest China’s Shaanxi Province. During his three-day trip, Yanukovych will hold talks with the country’s leaders and sign a number of bilateral 1 agreements in Beijing.
On Friday, he said that the development of strategic ties with China was a priority in Ukraine’s foreign policy, and that Ukraine was interested in boosting top-level political contacts.
