China says the Cairo Declaration, issued by Britain, China and the US in 1943, is of great significance in rebuilding the international order after World War Two.
Foreign Ministry 1 spokesman Hong Lei says the declaration has laid legal the basis for China to take back all the territories Japan had stolen in World War Two. Recently some Japanese have publicly questioned the declaration. China says the defiant 2 moves are destabilizing the international order.
Hong Lei called on Japan to respect history and reflect on the historical crimes committed by the Japanese militarists.
