Wen:Word. So what are my options here? Can I get a relaxer?
Nikki:Wen, relaxers “relax” the curls 1, so they turn into straight hair.
Wen:Oh. Ha-ha. Then I was born with a relaxer. Hmm...can I have an Afro? [Nikki shakes her head] How about a perm?
Nikki:Boring! How about braids? They won't last long, but they'll last through some booty-shakin'.
Wen:Aight. I'm down.
