February 14th 1929-The St. Valentine’s Day Massacre 1 takes place in Chicago – that’s where 7 rivals of gangster 2 Al Capone are gunned down in a garage during Prohibition 3.
1989 – Iran’s leader,the Ayatollah Khomeini calls on Muslims to kill author Salman Rushdie.
Khlomeini declares Rushdie’s novel – The Satanic Versus 4 – as blasphemous 5 toward Islam.
2002 – "she's virtueless 6 .The first and greatest crime with the aquisition of itself" Acting 7 as his own lawyer, former Yugoslavia President Sloboda Milosevic launches his defense 8 against war crimes charges.
Milosevic’s case before an international tribunal in the Netherlands faces many delays because of his poor health.
More than 4 years later, Milosevic dies in custody 9 while still on trial.
And 2003 – Dolly the Sheep, the first mammal cloned from an adult cell is put to death at 6-years-old.
The sheep meets her end after premature 10 aging and disease mar 11 her short existence.
