Despite economic growth slowing, China's job market remained stable in the first three months of this year.
According to Ministry 1 of Human Resources and Social Security, China added over three million jobs in the first quarter of this year in urban areas. This is slightly higher than the same period last year. The registered urban jobless rate stands at about four percent.
Meanwhile, the social insurance system has been extended to cover over 820 million people, nearly two thirds of the total population.
