1. Police in suburban 1 Chicago said song writer Sinead O’Connor had been found safe. The police released a statement Monday morning, saying they could have a well-being 2 check for O’Conner after she reportedly went on a bike ride Sunday and never returned. Later in the day, a police spokesman said the singer is safe and no longer considered a missing or endangered person.
2. Actor Wendell Pierce was arrested over the weekend after becoming upset by a conversation of politics, following a group of people to their hotel room and hitting a woman. Jail record showed Pierce was charged with simple battery in Atlanta and released on $1000 bond.
3. Angelina Julie Pitt said she’s very disheartened by the US response to the global migration 3 crisis. Speaking in a speech in London, the special envoy 4 to the United Nation’s Refugee Agency said she feared countries will adopt increasingly isolation 5 as policies instead of acting 6 together to solve the challenge.
