2. A large fire ripped through a town in Washington State, spreading rapidly as gusty 1 winds fanned the flames. The fire started early Friday morning and no injuries have been reported.
3. Republican presidential nominee 3 Donald Trump 4 thanked supporters after this week's convention, saying the party has come together. The GOP nominee also said senator Ted 2 Cruz may have ruined his political career with his speech at the convention, adding that he wouldn't accept Truz's endorsement 5.
4. As Cleveland breathes a sigh of the relief after the republican national convention came and went without a major chaos 6, eyes now turn to Philadelphia. The nation's fifth largest hosts the democratic national convention next week.
