1. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is in Egypt for the second round in the latest Mideast peace efforts. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas are set to meet at the summit. On Wednesday the summit shifts to Jerusalem.
2. Hurricane Igor continues to have its eye set on Bermuda. The Category 4 storm has winds near 140 miles an hour. Meantime, Hurricane Julia has formed in the Atlantic, becoming the fifth of the season. Currently Julia has winds near 75 miles an hour.
3. Authorities in Colorado say they've contained a wildfire near Boulder 1 that destroyed more than 160 homes. Investigators 2 are now trying to determine if they'll file charges in the case. It's believed that the blaze was sparked by a fire that a resident set days earlier at a fire pit.
4. Rafael Nadal has completed the career Grand Slam, winning his first US Open in the Monday final that was first postponed 3, then delayed because of rain. It's Nadal's third consecutive 4 major championship and ninth overall. He won Monday's final in 4 sets, defeating No.3 seed Novak Djokovic.
