天籁音乐:Dido-Life for Rent

Dido（蒂朵）是英国四人超级电子乐队“Faithless（无信念乐队）”的客席女主唱。她从小就是个音乐神童，10岁时即精通钢琴、小提琴演奏。她 的青少年时光便是在偷听哥哥Rollo的唱片收藏，以及和学校里的古典乐团一起巡回全英演出中度过的。之后她在哥哥于1995年筹组的乐队 Faithless的首张专辑《Reverence》中初试啼声，演唱了畅销曲《Insomnia》。接下来的两年中，Dido和“无信念乐队”一起前往 数十个国家巡回演出，而每当Dido拖着疲惫却亢奋的身心回到伦敦时，她便会着手为自己的创作录制一些试听带。



Arista唱片在1997年初听到了这些试听带，并安排Dido在伦敦的Dorchester饭店与总裁克利夫戴维斯见面，这次的会面相当成 功，Dido很快展开了首张个人专辑《No Angel》的录制。该专辑在全球创下超过1200万张的销售量。Dido的第二张专辑就是2003年9月发行的《Life for Rent》，该专辑在全球狂卖850万张，在22国拿下冠军，成为英国年度销售冠军专辑。

在《Life for Rent》中，Dido说她也只是一个会彷徨迷惘、感觉生命漂泊不定的平凡人，但是她同时也告诉人们不要怕冒险尝试，要追寻自己想要的生活。Dido的歌声虽然依然飘渺，却远远地眷顾着你的喜怒哀乐及爱恨嗔痴。随着她的娓娓道来，许多生活中已经麻痹的感动也渐渐苏醒。
