   Magmas

Have you heard about liquid rock?
It might sound funny to you.
How can a rock be liquid? While it can be.
If the temperature is very high, rock melts.
What do you call this melted rock? Magma.
So where can we see magma? In volcanoes.
Inside volcanoes, the temperature is over 700℃.
So the temperature is high enough to melt rocks.
When a volcano erupts, magma comes out.
The color of magma is red.
But when magma is cooled and becomes solid rock, it becomes black.
