BEIJING, March 27 (Xinhuanet) -- A woman charged with trespassing 1 on music supremo Simon Cowell's property appeared in a London court on Monday.

Leanne Zaloumis, 29, breaking into Cowell's house wielding 2 a broken brick and then hiding in his wardrobe, was accused of aggravated 3 burglary after the incident on Saturday night.
Prosecutors 5 said Cowell was watching TV in the bedroom of his mansion 6 in West London when he heard a loud bang coming from his bathroom and discovered Zaloumis inside with a brick.
Cowell's security staff confined the intruder to a bedroom until police arrived and found her in the wardrobe. Police officers drew their weapons as they arrested Zaloumis, and later found blood stains in the bathroom, prosecutor 4 Paul Mitchell said.
The charge, read out in court, alleges 7 that Zaloumis intended to "inflict 8 grievous bodily harm upon a person therein and at the time of committing the said burglary had with you a weapon of offense 9, namely a broken house brick."
She is also accused of shouting at Cowell and hurling 10 items at his bathroom window while standing 11 on a roof outside.
Cowell, 52, has gained his fame in both Britain and North America as producer and an acerbic 12 judge on TV talent shows including "The X Factor" and "America's Got Talent."
Cowell spokesman Max Clifford said Cowell had described the incident as "just like something out of a horror movie."
The defendant 14, who appeared in court with unkempt hair and a baggy 15 gray sweat shirt, spoke 13 only to confirm her name and address during a brief hearing at West London Magistrates 16' Court.
Zaloumis, from Catford, South East London, was ordered detained until her next hearing on June 12.
