  1. Richard, can I talk to you for a second? Solo 1.
Can I talk to you for a second?或者May I have a word with you?
Have you ever traveled abroad solo?
  2. I mean, Jobs was a poser. He didn’t even write code.
They pose for me to take a photo.
  He’s such a poser.
  3. Anyway, he’s also offering a hundred K to people willing to skip or drop out of college to pursue their idea.
“A hundred K”就是“10万”;“skip out”意义为“偷偷溜走”,“skip out of school”表示“逃学”,“drop out of”的意义是“退学,失学”。例如:
She’s engaged at a salary of three hundred K.
How could you skip out of school?
He dropped out of college to start his own business.
  4. -We were wondering if you could come in and for a sit-down with us. Are you available now?
  - Ok. Sure. Yes.
当然。有空。
  - Ok. We’ll be here.
表示自己会在说话的地方等待,可以说“I'll be here.”例如:
We’ll arrange an interview tomorrow morning. Are you available then?
Come over anytime you want. We’ll be here.
  5. Here’s the thing. I love what you did.
Here’s the thing. I have to work in Shanghai for three months.
