The Republic of Congo is the third stop of President Xi Jinping’s overseas tour. The country's Minister of Communications and Spokesman of the Government says President Xi’s visit to the country is a recognition of the two countries’ traditional friendship as well as a sign of mutual 1 development.
刚果共和国是此次习近平出国访问的第三个国家。刚果外交部部长及发言人说习近平主席此次对刚果的访问是对两国传统友谊的重视及双边关系发展的标志。
Bienvenu Okiemy, Minister of Communications, said, "We feel very happy to have Chinese President Xi Jinping visiting the Republic of Congo. The visit marks the deepening relations of the two countries. We have forged close relations with China in terms of economic cooperation. China plays a key role in our country’s foreign trade. China’s development is a good example for us to learn from. With the help of China, we hope to give full play of our intelligence and wisdom, and embrace a bright future."
